ABOUT THE PLANS
All Sales are Final. We are here to help if you have questions about any plan, however because of copyright protections, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds. We want the plan you choose to be perfect for your situation so please email us with any questions prior to purchase at, doug@usahomeplans.us .
Our plans are designed by profession home designers and architects, and are designed with standard construction practices and current codes in use at the time of design. Your local situation will vary and therefore we encourage you to check with your builder, code official, architect to adjust the plans for any local/regional variances.
Because each building site is unique, and regional construction methods can be different, we highly encourage the use of a local structural engineer to adjust for any requirements due to: local climate conditions, soil conditions, high wind prevalence, rain and snow loads, seismic conditions, hurricane zones, flood zones, all that may require adjustments to the structure for your locality. Thus our plans are not "Stamped" by any registered engineers or architects. Additionally, many building departments require plans to be reviewed to meet local code/standards so please check with your local building department before placing your order.
PLAN FORMAT PRICING
PDF:
Our files all come with a PDF set for your home building use. These are read only files and allows you to make copies of the plans for pricing, code review and building of this one purchase. (unless multiple licenses are purchased.) These files will be emailed and come with a license to use the plans.
CAD:
Many people purchase the CAD version of the plans. Ordering the CAD version also comes with a PDF version and a license to use the plans. The CAD version you will receive is only: AutoCad .dwg 2004. The CAD versions pricing is higher because of the additional work required to provide them as well as the increased risk of the plans being used more than the purchased license rights.
NO PRINTED SETS:
We are an electronic company only and do not send printed sets. All medium to large cities have numerous plan printing companies and many many small towns do as well. Many are used by your local builders, architects and engineers, but many are also used for everyday copy needs. FEDEX Office would be a good starting source if you don't know a local "reprographics" type company.
Q: Can I get my money back if I decide I don't want the plan?
A: No. All sales are final due to copyright laws and the ease of making copies of our plans once they are purchased. Please email us at doug@usahomeplans.us to discuss any questions you might have prior to your purchase.
Q: Can we return the plans if we decide not to build.
A: No. All sales are final, see previous answer for additional details.
